Bundang Jeseng Hospital Pediatric and Adolescent Department

My elderly mother, who has a heart and vascular condition, regularly goes for check-ups, so I made a reservation and visited Bundang Jeseng Hospital for a health check-up at the same time!!ㅎ

The next day, I went again to see my mom's doctor.

When children are young... you should always be prepared with at least one emergency room visit, since you never know what might happen!!

 

Fortunately, there are three hospitals around Zui House in Bundang. Usually, when going to the emergency room, I go to Seoul National University Hospital, but honestly, there are so many patients. After waiting for a long time and suffering in the emergency room with a sick child, I ended up going to Jeseong Hospital, a secondary hospital, as my next destination.

 

When you go to the emergency room...

There is a pediatric room inside the emergency room! It's nice that there is a separate area.

There are separate beds for children.. The door is locked.

I like the clear glass door that allows you to see through without any feeling.

Since there isn't much waiting even for babies here

It was good that they quickly administered fluids when I had a high fever.

 

The Department of Pediatrics and Adolescents is located on the second floor of the main building.

Since it's a large hospital, there are indeed many people waiting.

Still, all the medical staff are kind.

 

 

When I took the kids around, the desk was in the front like other departments, but this time I saw they moved the desk inside and expanded it neatly.

Also... when I crossed over to the new building's gastroenterology department with my mom, I noticed that a pediatric and adolescent injection room was also established in front of the pediatrics department!

I think it's better because it is separated.

Upon a quick look... I noticed there is a nurse dedicated solely to drawing blood and administering injections for the babies.

 

There is also a neonatal room and a neonatal intensive care unit.

In case your private clinic advises you to go to a larger hospital for jaundice or other serious conditions, please keep in mind that Seoul National University Hospital has a long wait time, so if you cannot receive treatment there, consider Je-sheng Hospital in Seohyun as an alternative. I recommend it.
