Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Department
My elderly mother-in-law was told to have regular checkups at the cardiovascular department, so I made an appointment and visited Bundang Jesaeng Hospital for a health checkup!!
The next day, I went again to see my mom.
While I'm at it, I took a picture^^
When children are young... you never know when something might happen, so you should know about the emergency room as a basic thing!!
Fortunately, there are three hospitals in Bundang around my house. Usually, I go to Seoul National University Hospital when I need an emergency. But honestly, there are just too many patients. I had a hard time waiting in the emergency room with my sick child for too long, so my next destination was Jesaeng Hospital, a secondary hospital.
If you go to the emergency room...
A pediatric ward in the emergency room! It's nice that there's a separate area!
There are separate beds for children and the door is locked.
It's nice because the glass door is clear and you can see through it without feeling any discomfort.
There aren't many children waiting here either.
It was good that they gave me IV fluids quickly when I had a high fever.
The pediatrics and adolescent medicine department is on the second floor of the main building.
As it is a large hospital, there is, as expected, a lot of waiting.
Still, all the medical staff are kind.
When I took my kids to school, the desk was in the front like other departments, but this time I saw that they had neatly expanded it by putting the desk inside.
Also, as I was going to the gastroenterology department with my mom, I saw that a pediatric injection room was opened in front of the pediatrics department.
I think it would be better if it was separated.
I peeked in and saw that there was a separate nurse dedicated to taking blood and giving injections to the babies.
There's also a neonatal ward and neonatal intensive care unit.
If you are told by a private hospital to go to a larger hospital for jaundice or other reasons, keep in mind that there is a long waiting list at Seoul National University Hospital, so if you cannot get treatment, there is also a Jesaeng Hospital in Seohyeon. I recommend it.
