It has been six months since I moved to Dangjin.

In rural areas, the population is small, so it's really hard to find a pediatrician. When my first child was 6 years old, I had to go on a run to find one, and now my second child is 4 months old. I'm really worried about making appointments for vaccinations, medical care when they're sick, and health checkups for infants.

 

Although my house is in Dangjin, Asan is also close, so I frequently use the Shindosi Jin Hospital.

Nighttime consultations and holiday consultations are both available, and reservations can be made via the app until midnight the day before (it's difficult to book with popular doctors, but this is really a big advantage).

Well-child checkups can also be scheduled via the app one week in advance, so even if the appointment is soon, there is enough time to complete it.

Additionally, there is a separate Well Baby clinic on the first floor where you can receive newborn care, vaccinations, and infant check-ups. It allows you to see the doctor without mixing with older children, and you can get vaccinated immediately without a prior appointment if you wait a little.

 

Additionally, there are no pediatric wards available for hospitalization in Dangjin or Seosan, but this place allows hospitalization. If there is a bed in the inpatient ward after the morning consultation, hospitalization can be arranged immediately.

 

It is a hospital where pediatric doctors are available, so you can visit for urgent care or after-hours treatment. The biggest downside is that parking is a bit difficult. Since the parking lot is shared with other buildings next to the pediatrics department, parking can be somewhat challenging. Aside from that, it is a hospital with many advantages, so I recommend Shindosi Jin Hospital.
