I take nutritional supplements regularly to prevent stomatitis.
For the past few years, I have been experiencing frequent symptoms of stomatitis, to the point where it was significantly disrupting my daily life. I tried various methods to prevent it, but without much improvement, I eventually looked for and started taking nutritional supplements that help with prevention. Since I have been taking the supplements consistently, the frequency of occurrence has dropped significantly compared to before, so I feel that the supplements are definitely effective in preventing stomatitis.
I used to get stomatitis occasionally, but for the past two or three years, it felt like I was living with it for about half of the year. So, I felt that even the smallest details of my daily life were uncomfortable because of it.
So, at first, I focused on adopting lifestyle habits that would help prevent stomatitis. For instance, I practiced brushing slowly to avoid damaging my gums, and chewing food slowly and carefully to prevent biting my gums. However, even after improving my lifestyle and behavioral habits like this, stomatitis would invariably appear, so it didn't seem to be very effective in preventing it.
So, I suspected it might be due to a nutritional deficiency. After looking up some information, I learned that a lack of B vitamins and iron can cause symptoms of stomatitis. I purchased and started taking supplements containing B vitamins and iron, and I noticed a significant reduction in stomatitis, so I felt it was effective in preventing it. B vitamins play a role in removing fatigue-causing substances from the body, promoting cell function, and delivering energy throughout the body. Therefore, a deficiency in B vitamins can lead to easy fatigue and various negative physical symptoms, the most common of which is stomatitis.
Also, since iron is closely involved in the body's energy metabolism, immunity, and cell function, a deficiency in iron is said to cause fatigue, decreased concentration, and frequent symptoms of stomatitis.
So, to prevent stomatitis, I purchased these two supplements and took them consistently for about 3-4 months, and since then, I have hardly experienced any symptoms. Therefore, I plan to continue taking these two supplements to prevent stomatitis in the future.
