"Nothing to cheat, so baby formula?" A company's scam that shocked parents

It was advertised that colostrum powder was included in the advertisement.

However, the actual amount added to the baby food is about 4.3% of the indicated amount.

Don't get confused. It's not a 4.3% deficiency, but rather a 95.7% reduction in raw material input. In fact, it's safe to say that almost none was added.

The baby food sold by this company totals 16 million units, worth approximately 40.2 billion won.

The company name has not yet been disclosed as the charges have not been confirmed through the trial.

Even before the violation was detected by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, former executives of Company A were aware of this issue.

The underfilled state is shocking. Out of 137 raw materials used in baby food manufacturing, as many as 84 contained less than the indicated amount.

In particular, in the case of colostrum powder, up to 97.7% of the raw material was used sparingly.
