Hello?
I have been coughing for over six months, and since there was COVID in the middle, I thought it was a lingering effect of COVID.
But I kept coughing up phlegm and the cough was really severe, so at first I went to an ENT clinic and was prescribed cough medicine mainly, but it didn't improve, so I suffered for two months. Then I went to a general hospital and was suspected of having reflux esophagitis? Not a definite diagnosis, but they told me to try medication first, so I took it for two weeks. During that time, I still coughed a few times, but I felt it had improved compared to before.
And there are days when I take all the medication and have severe coughing, and days when I don't. Could reflux esophagitis be the cause?
I'm really struggling with a cough that is so severe it disrupts my daily life.
I keep coughing up phlegm, and my throat hurts so much from doing this continuously.
