*[Question] I feel tight and my chest is pounding.
I have a lot of things to worry about these days, and I've been busy and hectic every day. I'm concentrating on this and that, and then all of a sudden, my chest starts to feel stuffy and throbbing. Sometimes, I feel like I've just run a marathon, and my chest feels tight and stuffy.
At first, I thought it was simply because I had a lot on my mind and couldn't sleep, but I went to bed earlier than usual and did less of the things I used to do, but the feeling of suffocation didn't go away and I even started to feel numbness in my arms.
I should go to the hospital, but I'm also afraid that I might have a serious illness.
As I began to experience these symptoms more frequently when I was under a lot of stress or physically tired, I began to realize that these symptoms were not a simple matter.
I looked it up and it said that these symptoms can be caused by stress, lack of sleep, caffeine overuse, cardiovascular problems, panic disorder, and anxiety disorder.
Has anyone else experienced chest tightness and palpitations like me? Is it temporary? Or should I go to the hospital?
