A review of alleviating asthma symptoms by taking supplements and improving lifestyle habits.
Earlier this year, I experienced persistent cough and phlegm that didn't improve, along with slight breathing difficulties, so I visited an ENT specialist. The doctor diagnosed me with asthma and prescribed symptom relief medication, and I received treatment for two weeks, but I didn't fully recover. Feeling somewhat alarmed, I started to treat my asthma more proactively by taking nutritional supplements and improving my lifestyle, which helped alleviate some of the symptoms. The causes of asthma can include allergens, poor air quality or dust, and smoking, among others. So, although it was very difficult, I quit smoking. To prevent aggravation of asthma caused by fine dust, household dust, and allergens entering through the respiratory system, I began wearing masks regularly. I also paid much more attention to cleaning my home than before. Since I kept the indoor environment very clean, I only wore masks outside or when going out, not at home. To block polluted air and dust as much as possible, I wore KF94 masks. After researching online and considering prices and reviews, I purchased a large quantity of Philson M Sandal disinfectant masks KF94 and wore them regularly.
And to alleviate asthma symptoms, I started taking propolis. Asthma is a condition where inflammation occurs in the bronchi, leading to shortness of breath and coughing. Propolis has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, which helps reduce airway inflammation caused by asthma, making breathing easier and reducing coughing. So, I looked for a good propolis product and purchased Naturalize Royal Propolis Plus, taking one tablet daily.
And since bellflower root is good for bronchitis and asthma, I regularly took fermented red bellflower root syrup from Cheonggyeon Won.
By quitting smoking, thoroughly cleaning the house, always wearing a mask outdoors, and continuously taking propolis and bellflower root syrup, my asthma symptoms gradually eased. After about six months, I no longer experienced severe symptoms that caused concern. Even now, symptoms appear intermittently to some extent, but they are not disruptive to my daily life. I plan to continue making efforts to prevent the recurrence of asthma symptoms in the future.
