Question) How do you manage patients with post-nasal drip syndrome?
2024.10.09 00:19
Post-nasal drip refers to the phenomenon where foreign substances or phlegm in the throat and nose flow down the back of the throat.
Usually, phlegm gets stuck in the tonsils, and no matter how hard you cough, it doesn't come out easily.
You need to cough forcefully until you almost gag to bring it out, and if it still doesn't come out, you should go to the ENT clinic to have it suctioned out.
Even if I take medication at the hospital, it only works for a while, so I get headaches. How do you manage it?
