Has anyone ever fainted? Fainting is really quite scary.
I thought I was pretty sturdy, but I also experienced fainting...;;
I am going to share my experience of fainting.
Let's also discuss the management methods for future fainting episodes.
First, when I take the subway, I experience a sensation of tightness in my chest.
It's not quite panic disorder. I can handle flying well. However, I find it difficult to breathe when I take crowded public transportation.
My face also turns red.
One day, I took the subway as usual, but that day it was completely full.
There were so many people and the seats were crowded, so I felt suffocated and my face turned red, and I just couldn't ride it at all.
So even though it wasn't my destination, I just got off.
I was trying to find a place to sit down, and suddenly I felt dizzy and everything was spinning!!
At that moment, I experienced a brief blackout...
I suddenly snapped out of it and realized I was sitting leaning against a subway pillar, and a woman asked me if I was okay.
I don't clearly remember the time in between, but I think this is what you call fainting.
It felt like my vision was blurry and my head was spinning, as if the electricity had gone out.
Oh, I thought this was what fainting was. After greeting the woman and coming home, I looked it up and found that it might be orthostatic hypotension? It seems similar to vasovagal syncope.
It seemed like there were such detailed diagnoses within the category of fainting.
I went to the hospital, and the blood test was normal. They told me to get a cochlear test if I was still worried, but everything turned out fine, so I just went home.
Actually, there isn't really a specific management method. Just... you shouldn't get up too quickly. It may sound funny, but it's true. You need to get up slowly. If you feel like you're going to faint, find a place to sit down. I was fortunate enough to sit right on the subway floor.
Fainting is really scary... It would have been terrible if I had fainted on the stairs!
I recommend a book for those experiencing similar symptoms to mine. It is a book about vasovagal syncope, a type of fainting.
