Suffering from urinary issues at night due to prostate enlargement
Hastily making an appointment with the urology department and going for a urinalysis, I was advised to undergo an ultrasound diagnosis after hearing the explanation. I also felt a sense of foreboding, and as a result of the ultrasound, I was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia. The reason for the ultrasound was that among patients with prostate enlargement, some also have prostate cancer, so I decided to have the ultrasound. Fortunately, it was confirmed that I did not have cancer. However, I was told that I should have an ultrasound at least once a year. After taking the prescribed medication from the doctor for about six months, I felt better and did not go to the hospital. Then, after 15 days, the same symptoms appeared. Reluctantly, I sought medical treatment again, and the doctor said that the recurrence rate of benign prostatic hyperplasia is high, especially in winter when the temperature drops, and the likelihood of recurrence is high. Since then, even when symptoms lessen, I continue to receive medical care and have also obtained additional medication from the market.
