Among my acquaintances, there is someone who damaged their sinus condition through improper treatment and can no longer smell anything at all. They said they haven't been able to smell the aroma of coffee for years. That person used a nasal spray medication when they had rhinitis. So I don't use any medication even though I have rhinitis. Instead, I grow basil at home and frequently smell the basil scent by gently touching the basil leaves. When I do that, I gradually feel my nose becoming refreshed. Of course, in my case, my rhinitis isn't very severe, so the effect might be different, but I believe that natural remedies are always better. It doesn't have to be basil; I think any herb-scented plant would be good.
