Research findings suggest that chamomile tea with a subtle aroma may help promote longevity.
My mother has insomnia, so I bought chamomile because it's good for insomnia, and I heard it also helps with longevity...
Moreover, my mom has diabetes, and it also helps reduce complications!!
I tell my mom to drink a glass every day.
I should also cut back on coffee and drink a cup of chamomile.
Research findings suggesting that the subtle aroma of 'Chamomile Tea' may contribute to 'longevity' are attracting attention.
According to the British daily Daily Mail on the 21st (local time), a research team from the University of Texas Medical Branch in the United States announced that women who drink more than one cup of chamomile tea a day have a reduced risk of early death.
The research team conducted a seven-year study on 1,677 Hispanic elderly residents in Texas, USA, investigating the correlation between 'chamomile' and 'longevity'.
Women who drank at least one cup of chamomile tea per day were found to have about a 29% lower risk of early death compared to women who did not drink it. On the other hand, there was no significant effect observed in men.
Dr. Bret Howrey, who led the research, explained, "Studies on the relationship between chamomile and women's longevity have been ongoing," and clarified, "What is clear is that chamomile components are well compatible with female hormones."
According to Dr. Brett, 'chamomile' has shown significant effectiveness in treating complications caused by diabetes.
It is also known to have positive effects on our body, such as treating anxiety disorders, lowering cholesterol, reducing inflammation, and activating platelets.
