(Concern) My unmarried partner's plea: I don't want to undergo a hysterectomy. 😢
I am a woman in my early 40s.
Last month, my period was about 15 days late, and on the day it started, I experienced dizziness, severe stomach pain, and a complete lack of energy that lasted for three days.
Since I was planning to visit the hospital, I went there and had an ultrasound exam, and they told me I have a small fibroid and diagnosed adenomyosis of the uterus.
They suggested that since the diagnosis is still uncertain, we should follow up in six months.
Suspicion of disease can be considered a preliminary stage before adenomyosis of the uterus.
For those unfamiliar with adenomyosis, let me explain.
The criterion for diagnosing adenomyosis is an endometrial thickness of 2 cm or more.
When it comes to diagnosis, I was told it was suspicious because my measurement was 1.99mm. Even though it's called suspicious, isn't a 1mm difference just a normal variation?ㅜ
I found out that once the thickened lining becomes thicker, it shouldn't become thinner again or grow larger, but that seems to be difficult to achieve.
I usually had pelvic pain, and I thought it was because my pelvis was misaligned, but it turns out it was due to adenomyosis.
Trying the above two treatment methods, and the last treatment method is
I felt a bit scared when I heard it was a hysterectomy.
I'm still not married and haven't had children, so I feel unfair and gloomy about having to consider an excision surgery.
I'm posting this because I have no one around to ask for advice about gynecological issues.

I would like to receive a recommendation.
