My secret to managing my blood sugar is eating salads!

I didn't start eating salads to manage my blood sugar from the beginning.

While eating salad, I realized I could manage not only my weight but also my blood sugar levels!

 

Green vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals.

A diet rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals helps prevent blood sugar spikes and aids in controlling blood sugar levels and blood pressure.

So, eating a vegetarian diet with salads can have a positive effect on stabilizing blood sugar levels and supporting metabolism.

 

If eating only salad feels too empty, eating salad first and then rice can help reduce blood sugar spikes, which aids in blood sugar management!

So, when I eat alone for lunch, I only have a salad.

When having dinner with my family in the evening, I usually set out a salad and include it either before or during the meal so we can enjoy it alongside our main dishes.

Our family also mostly eats a meat-based diet, so we were worried about our health.

After serving the salad together, I find that I end up eating a little more vegetables.

 

So, I will introduce a way for you all to enjoy delicious and convenient salads :)

I buy salad vegetables in 1kg boxes. At first, I bought the necessary vegetables little by little, but I couldn't handle it.

I liked that when I bought it in a box, it contained 3 to 4 different types, so it was quite diverse.

If you wrap it in paper towels without washing it about half of the time, you can store it for nearly two weeks.

Wash the remaining vegetables, dry them, and store them in a container. It's so convenient because you can just tear them with your hands and add them whenever you eat.

It's good to add leftover vegetables whenever you have some on hand.

I also eat carrots, paprika, and cucumbers well.

Sometimes I even eat store-bought dressings, but homemade dressings!! are so delicious.

My friends also came and ate, and everyone said it was delicious.

 

Dressing 

3 tablespoons of soy sauce

2 tablespoons of vinegar

3 tablespoons of oligosaccharide

1 tablespoon of whole grain mustard

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 tablespoon of sesame oil

0.5 teaspoons of minced garlic

A little bit of pepper and salt

Add all the ingredients and mix them together. I put it in a convenient container so I can pour and eat right away.

Taste it and if you'd like to add more sweetness, you can add more oligosaccharide syrup.

I measure with a ladle and prepare a large amount, which I then consume over about 1 to 2 weeks.

This is the salad I ate for lunch today. I ate it quickly alone, so it was missing eggs and chicken breast. Adding boiled eggs and chicken breast makes it much more delicious.

And it's also very delicious to add spaghetti noodles and eat it as pasta salad.

Cook the spaghetti noodles, then rinse them with cold water before adding.

It's good to prepare a lot, divide it into portions in the refrigerator or freezer, and then just lightly heat it in the microwave^^

I think eating slowly and not overeating are also important to prevent blood sugar spikes.
