Does benign prostatic hyperplasia affect marital relationships?

I've been suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia for five years. My doctor hasn't recommended surgery, so I'm only taking medication.

But I think it was around that time, but we weren't having a good relationship. I think it might be because I'm getting older, but after talking to my friends, it doesn't seem to be that either. I'm wondering if I should get surgery to completely cure my benign prostatic hyperplasia.
