Since about a month ago, my big toe has been gradually tingling and feeling slightly numb.
It's not that I have no sensation, but my sensation has weakened.
It's the feeling or state when blood flow is blocked and sensation diminishes.
I have pain from an ingrown toenail, and since the painful area is close to the area with reduced sensation, I initially thought that maybe this is what happens when an ingrown toenail digs in. However, I went to the orthopedic surgeon because the pain from the ingrown toenail was severe, and they said that even though there is pain from the ingrown toenail, it does not cause numbness.
I have diabetes.
It seems that these symptoms might be caused by diabetes.
Are there others like me who experience these symptoms due to diabetes?
I'm wondering if this symptom improves when blood sugar levels drop.ㅠ
