Question) Is there a connection between snoring and obesity?

I tend to be a light sleeper, so I can hear even small sounds while sleepingㅠ Maybe because my husband has gained weight recently, his snoring has become worse during sleepㅠ

My husband's snoring sounds like a tank passing by, and when he asks me to listen to that sound from the side, I find it very distressing and can't sleep well, so I'm tired every day.

Will my husband's snoring decrease if he loses weight?
