Is there no cure without surgery? Can I continue with the treatment?

I had no idea until a few years ago, during a health checkup, I discovered I had uterine fibroids.

Uterine fibroids may not have immediate effects, but if left untreated, they can continue to grow, which can lead to a more serious condition later on.

I've already had it removed in my second treatment because they said it could grow back.

However, the problem is that in cases like uterine fibroids, it does not end in one go but relapses, so the future treatment direction is

I'm thinking about it

Is there no cure without surgery? Can I continue with the treatment?

Gynecological diseases seem to be difficult in many ways. The screening methods are difficult, and the appropriate treatment methods are also difficult.

First of all, going to the gynecologist and getting an ultrasound is an uncomfortable and difficult task.

I first discovered I had uterine fibroids during a health checkup.

They said that since that place only does checkups, I would have to go back to the gynecologist for a checkup and then have it removed.

So I went to Go Eunbit Women's Hospital for a checkup and was diagnosed that it needed to be removed.

After fasting on the same day, I had it removed under anesthesia and fortunately it was removed well.

They said that uterine fibroids have a high risk of recurrence, but they couldn't find the cause.

If you know the cause, you can find a fundamental solution, but if you just find it, it's a repetitive treatment to remove it.

Is there no cure without surgery? Can I continue with the treatment?

About two years passed like that, and the fibroid was found again and removed a second time.

You have no choice but to keep repeating this process, or go to a large hospital and be admitted.

They told me to get surgery instead of a procedure and then I would feel better.

And they tell me to put in Mirena to prevent recurrence.

Mirena has terrible side effects.

So, should I just choose to remove uterine fibroids whenever they are discovered and continue to repeat the same treatment?

Or, I'm having such a hard time deciding whether to get surgery or get Mirena for a fundamental solution.

I'm so worried and distressed by the persistent uterine fibroids.

But I still trust the doctor at the hospital I go to because he explains things so kindly and well.

I plan to discuss future treatment for uterine fibroids with the doctor in charge.

    그나마 애기 낳고 나서는 좀 덜한데 근종 때문에 유산한 친구들도 있어서;;;
    근종 생겼던 친구들은 계속 생기는 거 같더라구요;;;
