I had a breast cancer screening, and at another hospital, they mentioned a mammotome, so I was introduced to someone I know during a health checkup. Since it's close to my house, I visited for the first time a few years ago.
As you know, breast cancer screening can be embarrassing and nerve-wracking, but the doctor calmly explained everything while gently performing the ultrasound, which helped me relax.
And they didn't even mention the mammotomy.
Rather, they said that at this age, there are fewer lumps, so they advised to continue regular check-ups well.
These days, it seems like they make it too easy to perform a mammotomy, and they say it's not just done with one procedure; if something else develops, they keep doing it repeatedly.
Since then, I have moved far from home, but I am still going regularly.
If you go over 40, hot flashes may occur and then disappear again.
As long as the size isn't enlarged or the shape isn't abnormal, there's no need to worry much.
