A few months ago, I started experiencing stomach pain before my period, and it continued even after it ended, so I went to the gynecology clinic.
Diagnosed with adenomyosis, went to a larger hospital for another examination 😢
The same result came out. The normal size of the uterus is 4×6, but I was told it is 8×10... so that's why there's more menstrual blood...
They say to remove it because it has become larger than 15 centimeters, but now they are asking me to choose... I cried so much on my way home...
It's scary and painful... I can't undergo extraction, and the pre-implantation has many side effects... They said extraction has no side effects, but when I looked it up online, there's no way that's true... I was so scared that I couldn't do anything.
When I have menstrual cramps, painkillers don't work well, so I tried buying different kinds from various pharmacies lol. Now, my menstrual pain has improved a lot, but since the symptoms vary every month, the pain still feels the same and is quite painful.
Since my menstrual flow is heavy, I am taking iron supplements (normal level is 12 or above). It has risen to the mid-10s.
I need to go for a check-up, but I'm afraid they'll say it has grown larger, so I can't go. I'm now in my late 40s and experiencing menopause symptoms like vaginal atrophy and contraction. I wonder how many years I should wait... but I also think I might come late. I'm worried about what to do every month during my period... It's a problem I have to decide for myself, so I can't find an answer.
