Green tea = Green tea is rich in an antioxidant substance called catechin. It helps prevent liver cancer and other diseases. Drinking hot brewed green tea allows you to consume more catechin. Iced green tea and lukewarm green tea contain much less catechin.

 

One of the best ways to maintain liver health is to keep a healthy weight. It is advisable to develop a habit of drinking water instead of sugary beverages like soda and sports drinks. This can help reduce a significant number of calories daily.

 

According to research, drinking 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day can protect the liver from damage caused by excessive drinking or unhealthy diets. There are also studies suggesting that coffee may reduce the risk of liver cancer.
