Lately, my depression has gotten worse, and I've been having trouble sleeping more often. I can't fall asleep even when I lie down, and when I finally do, I toss and turn until dawn, and even then, waking up in the morning is incredibly difficult. In the past, getting enough sleep helped me feel a little better, but these days, insomnia seems to be making my depression worse.
I'd like to avoid medication if possible, but I'm curious about how sleep clinics treat depression and insomnia. I'm curious about testing and treatment programs. I've never been diagnosed, but I'm constantly wondering if I should go to a sleep clinic.
