How to take Bluepen syrup

The children's fever reducer, Bufufen syrup, can also be taken by adults, and for adults, the recommended dosage is a total of three times a day—after breakfast, lunch, and dinner—taking 10 to 20 ml 30 minutes after each meal.

For children weighing less than 30 kg

1-2 years old: 3-5 ml / 3-6 years old: 5-8 ml

7 to 10 years old: 8 to 10 ml / 11 to 14 years old: 10 to 13 ml

Bluepen Syrup Precautions

First, take after meals

You must take it after meals, as gastrointestinal discomfort is the most common side effect of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Second, high fever

It is advisable to go to the hospital if you have a persistent high fever above 39°C or if your body temperature does not decrease even after 2 to 4 hours of taking antipyretics.

Third, bleeding

For NSAIDs like ibuprofen, since they can cause bleeding due to their anticoagulant effects, it is essential to inform the doctor about any medications taken before dental treatment or surgical procedures such as tooth extraction.

Fourth, abstinence

When taking Brufen syrup, consuming alcohol can cause gastrointestinal bleeding, so it must be strictly avoided.

In addition, patients suffering from conditions such as kidney failure, heart failure, hypertension, pregnant women, severe blood abnormalities, liver disorders, bleeding, gastrointestinal ulcers, and other illnesses are prohibited from taking it.
