Is it okay to follow a low-carb, high-fat diet even if I have high cholesterol?
I'm interested in the low-carb, high-fat diet that involves eating less carbohydrates and consuming more foods containing fat.
My blood sugar is slightly high, and I heard that a low-carb, high-fat diet is good.
Apples and bread are also eaten with fats like peanut butter or olive oil~
Reducing carbohydrates can help prevent blood sugar spikes by potentially lowering sugar levels, which seems beneficial.
But I'm worried whether a low-carb, high-fat diet is okay since my total cholesterol is high.
Total cholesterol is slightly higher than the normal range.
LDL cholesterol is within the normal range, but it is almost borderline.
Triglycerides and HDL are normal.
I'm a bit concerned about my cholesterol levels. Is a low-carb, high-fat diet okay?
