Sharing an experience of healthy recovery from a stroke

A few years ago, I suddenly felt dizzy in the evening.

My dizziness was different from usual, so I called 119. After revealing my location, 119 kept asking questions, but I couldn't speak anymore and collapsed. I spent a whole month unconscious in the intensive care unit, then woke up. Later, I found out that I had been kept in a hypothermic state at Ajou University Hospital for a month, and after analysis, they decided it was safe to wake me up. After that, I underwent two years of rehabilitation training at a rehab hospital, recovered to normal, and was discharged. Now I am living a normal life. I believe that all of this recovery was due not only to the efforts of the therapists but also to the patient's own will.
