Are those who have had LASIK satisfied?

Since elementary school, I started wearing glasses early due to my myopic vision, and later developed astigmatism... I have lived most of my life almost inseparable from my glasses. Sometimes glasses can be cumbersome, but contact lenses are even more uncomfortable ㅠ

I was living without much thought, but recently I heard that among people around me who wear glasses, some are experiencing presbyopia and are considering LASIK because they just want to wear one pair of glasses.

I'm thinking about just doing it now instead of waiting until later...

But hearing about the side effects makes me a bit scared... ㅠ

Is there anyone who, even after passing forty... or even if they didn't quite pass, had surgery later on and felt satisfied?

I'm curious.
