Hospital Information
There is a very old local internal medicine clinic in Goyang City.
I've been going there since I was little, so I think it's been at least 20 years.
The hospital is called Jo Jae-sik Internal Medicine and is located on the second floor of a building called the Sale Building.
It's not too far from the station and there are many bus stops nearby, so it's easily accessible.
What are the clinic hours?
Mon-Fri 09:00 - 18:30
Sat 09:00 - 13:00
Regular holiday
It says so.
I think there was one doctor and two nurses in the hospital.
The reason I highly recommend this internal medicine clinic is because the director here is a truly great doctor.
From when I was young until now as an adult, you have always treated me kindly and well.
My friends only go to this internal medicine clinic, and even friends who moved to other neighborhoods still go to this clinic. The treatment is so thorough!
Reason for visit
I once had a cold and visited this internal medicine clinic.
Normally, when I feel sick, I just take over-the-counter medicine. But that day, I was really exhausted and the medicine wasn't working, so I dragged my sick body to the hospital.
Actually, if you have a cold, the hospital doesn't give you any special prescriptions.
But the doctor just looked at me and told me to lie down on the bed.
While pressing here and there on my stomach, he asked if it hurt, and I said my stomach didn't hurt.
When I pressed on my stomach, he said it was hard and that I had an asymptomatic enteritis virus that was in the incubation period and did not cause diarrhea or abdominal pain.
He said that the symptoms may change around dinner time and that I might have a stomachache, so I should eat porridge instead of rice today and that he would give me a day's worth of medicine, so I should take the medicine and come back the next day.
And that day, I got my first IV drip!
At first, they only gave me a day's worth of medicine, but my stomach didn't hurt and I didn't have diarrhea, so why did I die...?
But I was sick and had no appetite, so I ate porridge like the doctor said...
Surprisingly, I had real diarrhea that evening;; 😳😳
At that time, I was sick, but how did this doctor know and prescribe this?
I really thought that they were providing good treatment!
He examines patients thoroughly and with sincerity, not like a doctor who has fallen into mannerism. He doesn't cut corners with just a minute or two of consultation time!
The nurses are also kind.
The only downside is that the hospital is old and worn out and a bit small.
But when I told this story to an acquaintance, he said, "A shabby, old hospital with only one doctor is a real hospital."
Now that I hear it, it seems like it's true 😅
It was my first time getting IV fluids, so I wasn't sure how much it would cost, but it wasn't cheap. Later, I received reimbursement and realized that this was truly a prestigious internal medicine clinic!

김석주동네에 있는병원 나이이많으신 할아버지 의사 정감이가죠 내과도보고소아과도보고 요즘이런병원 보기가힘들죠 추억으로가네요~~~^^
이지혜동네이웃이네요^^ 저도 이 동네로 초등학교때 이사가서 쭉 다니고 있는 단골병원이에요~ 6학년때 갑자기 물만 먹어도 구토하고 어지럼증이 심해서 병원에 갔더니 진료 보시자마자 소견서 써줄테니 상급병원에 가라고 하시더라고요. 뇌수막염이 의심된다고요~ 바로 대학병원에 갔더니 뇌수막염이 맞았어요! 그래서 일주일간 입원치료 잘 받아서 완치할 수 있었답니다!! 진짜 제가 찐으로 인정하는 병원이에요^^
