I became interested in veneers when one of my front teeth had a problem.
I'm so envious of those white teeth, and whenever I see celebrities, I wonder why their teeth are so white. Should I try teeth whitening? Just then, I happened to pass by a newly opened dental clinic in my neighborhood that was having a sale. But the dentist told me that most celebrities have veneers, and that teeth whitening alone can't achieve such white teeth.
So I went ahead because they said they would do it cheaply.
When I say that doing everything like a celebrity makes daily life uncomfortable
We decided to do only the four front teeth and undergo whitening treatment simultaneously for the rest.
So, around the year 2003, I bought them for 400,000 won each.
The dental mold I used at that time is still here.
Teeth whitening is initially performed at the dental clinic for the first few sessions.
Like in the picture, I had to take an impression of my teeth at home, pour the medication into the tray before bed, and sleep with it in my mouth.
However, as the dentist said, the whitening treatment did not result in a dramatic transformation. It's a subtle difference, so I don't think you should have high expectations.

At that time, laminate veneers often involved removing a significant amount of tooth.
It's so great that they don't delete it now^^
First, the teeth are properly ground down, then I choose the desired tooth color, take an impression, and while wearing a temporary tooth, once the impression is ready, they remove the temporary and attach the artificial tooth as if attaching a fake nail.
I wanted to make my teeth a bit larger, but since my teeth are small, I had no choice but to proceed accordingly.
Laminate had to be used with caution in practice. So, I had to endure some discomfort and live with it.
Because I had my front teeth done, it was uncomfortable to bite into fruits or tear meat with my front teeth, and I also had to be careful with hard foods.
I was living carefully and well, but one day, a front tooth I had treated broke. ㅠㅠ
As expected, candy...ㅠㅠ I shouldn't eat hard ones, but I was eating sideways and it was fine so I guess I let my guard down.
So I had no choice but to do it again.
But I didn't redo it with laminate.
There were many inconveniences, and perhaps because of tooth extraction, I experienced long-term sensitivity, so I chose a different method and got a crown.
There were three options for the crown, but since the most expensive one was too burdensome, I chose the middle option.
Crowns are not attached like veneers; they are placed over the tooth. The treatment process is similar to that of veneers.
Afterward, I didn't experience as much discomfort as I did with the laminate. I was able to eat anything I wanted without worry, and I could even tear and eat meat with my front teeth.
But since it's not always my own teeth, I guess I shouldn't let my guard down.
Once again, the tip of the left molar is slightly chipped.ㅠㅠ
Maybe it's because the meat and bones were being chewed.
So I recently did one again. At Tanhyeon Well Dental Clinic. The doctor was a young male, and although there were three mistakes and some awkwardness, it was a really conscientious and kind place.
This time, I just went with the most expensive option, so I chose a zirconia crown because it's the trend.
It looks like the right side in the photo. The tooth size is slightly different, right? This one is much smoother and more transparent than the three I did before. And it was thicker as well. So, it seems that soda or tea would cause less tooth erosion with this.
As expected, the more expensive one is better. Since this treatment was covered by insurance this time, I didn't mind choosing the most expensive option. Haha
For those who will undergo crown treatment later, do it at the best possible stage. The difference is definitely noticeable.
Dental insurance coverage begins from the 100th day, so please get it before then.^^
Anyway, I'm currently using it without any inconvenience~
