(Post-treatment review) I had surgery for an inguinal lump.

Since I was a student, whenever I felt tired or thought my immune system was weakened, a lump would form in my groin.

 

Still, if I sleep deeply, I tend to sink back down...

This time, it didn't sink and grew bigger, making it very uncomfortable to wear underwear, so I decided to go to the hospital.

And when I looked it up on the internet, it said to visit the hospital😭 It could be a hernia or a lymph node problem..

 

I was also worried about which hospital I should go to.

I was wondering if I should go to the surgery department...

It's in the groin area, so I felt embarrassed to go to the surgery department for treatment. 😰

 

So, just in case, I went to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic.

 

The doctor looked and said fortunately it's not a hernia or lymph node metastasis, but rather something like a boil.

 

The doctor said it might be uncomfortable, but it would be better to perform local anesthesia immediately and drain the pus. So, they administered local anesthesia right away and proceeded with the treatment.

I came thinking it would be simple, but I was really scared because it was surgery... but the doctor reassured me by saying they would sew it up nicely (??) 😂

 

The surgery was simple and took about 10 minutes.

I finished everything, came down, had an antibiotic test, received an antibiotic IV drip, and was discharged.

 

 

And the hospital prescribed a bandage to prevent scars and help me recover quickly, so I bought and applied it.

 

Since I cut it out and removed it, it hasn't come back in the groin area yet. When I'm really tired, my body reacts quickly..😂
