My story about egg freezing

I've been hearing a lot about egg freezing these days. People are saying it's a smart investment in your health for the future. Even for someone like me who's always interested in health, this procedure has been a very thoughtful topic. At first, I thought it was just a distant dream, but now I'm starting to feel more and more compelled to consider it realistically.

Even if you don't think about it, it often appears on variety shows or TV programs.

In modern society, careers are becoming increasingly important, and people are delaying marriage after finding a true partner. It's no longer the norm to get married in your 20s and have children right away. I, too, want to focus on my career now and have a strong desire to continue growing. However, since a woman's body can't defy biological age, many people choose egg freezing to maintain the possibility of a stable pregnancy.

Of course, even if pregnancy isn't my goal, it feels like insurance for the unexpected. Since we don't know what the future holds, I think it's okay to keep our options open. Especially since I've heard from people around me that freezing eggs before age 35 can significantly increase your chances of pregnancy, I'm even more anxious about making a decision before it's too late. Hearing that egg quality deteriorates over time really weighs on me.

But it feels like there are quite a few things to consider before making the decision. I've learned a lot by researching information online, and it's actually a more complicated process than I thought. While some say younger is better, others believe there's a certain age limit. Getting pregnant too young can be a challenge, as people aren't sure of their life plans yet, and getting pregnant too late can lead to poor egg quality, so timing it right can be a challenge.

Above all, freezing your eggs doesn't guarantee 100% pregnancy later on. This is the most realistic concern. You have to consider the survival rate of the frozen eggs upon thawing, the fertilization success rate, and even the actual birth success rate, all of which need to be carefully considered at every stage. I was a little disappointed to hear that even if you have 100 frozen eggs, not all of them can be fully utilized. This makes me think I need to approach this more carefully.

나쁘지 안다고 봅니다. 미래를 위해 조금 이라도 더 일찍 젊은고 건강할때 보관하는 것도 좋은 선택 중 하나라고 봐요.
