(Concern) Dry eye syndrome after LASIK surgery
It's been about 10 years since I had LASIK surgery, and I was told that there might be some glare and dry eyes, so I accepted these risks and underwent the procedure.
However, until about 2-3 years ago, I didn't really notice much glare or dryness, but in recent years, both glare and dryness have worsened more than I expected, and I occasionally develop inflammation that I didn't have before. I sometimes go to the ophthalmologist to get prescriptions for artificial tears or eye ointments. Lately, maybe because of presbyopia, my vision also seems to be declining a bit.
Since I work in an office job and use a PC all day, I try to minimize phone usage as much as possible, but it's not easy.
The doctor told me to do eye compresses frequently, so I bought a compress pack, but I don't end up using it much.
Advice for those managing dry eyes.
Is there a way to manage more proactively?
