Question) What are the differences between panic disorder symptoms and menopause symptoms?
I have been suffering from panic disorder for quite a long time.
The onset of symptoms causes difficulty breathing only when I enter the company.
It started with a desire to run outside or feeling suffocated on the bus and wanting to get off the vehicle.
When I went to the university hospital emergency room and was recommended to see a neuropsychiatrist, I went there the next day, couldn't breathe and started crying, but after taking medication once, my symptoms subsided.
I started taking medication for panic disorder from this time.
However, the problem is that because I didn't notify the insurance about taking medication for panic disorder, my insurance was canceled.
Panic disorder is a type of mental illness, and it is said that no insurance covers it.
I didn't know that.
So I stopped taking the medication and managed to endure for three years, and if I had just two more years, I could have had insurance coverage, but because I developed facial paralysis, I felt suffocated and started taking medication for panic disorder again this winter.
However, I happened to read about menopausal symptoms, such as chest tightness, difficulty breathing, and feeling suffocated when at home.
From this point on, I became curious about the differences between panic disorder and menopause.
Maybe I'm not experiencing panic disorder, but rather menopausal symptoms...
I also asked the obstetrician and gynecologist, and they said both have similar symptoms.
I don't know about other things, but I think I should have some kind of insurance, so I'm feeling anxious and posting this question.
