[Seoul Apgujeong Station Lip Filler] Honest Pain and Effectiveness Reviews (Paid with My Own Money)

I recently got lip filler at a dermatology clinic near Apgujeong Station.
I hope my experience will be of some help to those of you considering lip fillers, so I'm leaving this review.

 

 

■ Appearance before treatment

I've always been concerned that my lips are small and thin compared to my face, making them look stuffy and giving my overall impression of being narrow.

 

■ First impression after the procedure

I wanted a natural change that wasn't excessive, and the director took into account my face proportions to determine the appropriate amount and line, which was very satisfying.
It was a little swollen and awkward at first, but after a few days it became much more natural.

 

■ Hospital Location & Atmosphere

5-10 minute walk from Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 6.
It was easy to find because Starbucks was on the first floor of the building, and there was a parking lot, so it was easily accessible.

 

The interior was decorated with a warm atmosphere, and the waiting room was equipped with snacks and drinks, so I was able to relax.

■ Consultation & Preparation Process

As it was my first visit, I filled out a customer card and took front and side photos of my face.
I felt confident because the consultation was conducted directly by the director, not the manager.
I told her that I wanted a 'natural change', and she said that she would adjust it to the balance of my face without putting in too much.

 

 

■ Procedure & Pain

1. Disinfect your lips thoroughly.
2. Nerve anesthesia injection → It was momentarily painful and sore, but it soon got better.
3. Wait for about 15 minutes and then start the treatment.

 

During the procedure, the director personally showed me a mirror and adjusted the lines every time the filler was injected, which made me feel reassured.
There was a little pressure when the filler was injected, but it didn't hurt much thanks to the anesthesia.

Also, being prepared to hold and receive the attachment doll helped ease my tension a lot.

 

 

■ Immediately after the procedure & after the procedure

- Immediately after: There was some swelling and awkward feeling, but almost no bruising.
- After 2-3 days: As the swelling goes down, it settles into a natural shape.
- After 1 week: The lip line becomes clearer and matches well with the facial proportions.

 

In particular, I got the impression that 'the lines became clearer' rather than 'the lips became bigger'.

 

■ Precautions & Management Tips

- Avoid touching your lips for 24 hours
- Avoid strong heat and cold air
- Refrain from drinking and smoking for 3 days

 

I was able to resume my daily routine right away without any particular side effects, and from the next day onwards I was able to live without any major discomfort.

 

■ Overall Review

I wanted natural, sophisticated lips and the result was just what I wanted.
I felt more at ease because the management instructions were also explained in detail.
