They checked on me periodically to make sure I was okay, so I didn't experience any discomfort. Once the IV finished, I wasn't completely fine right away, but my body felt less heavy than when I first arrived, and the fever sensation seemed to have subsided a bit. Afterwards, I was prescribed antiviral medication and fever reducers and rested at home. Starting the next day, I could definitely feel my symptoms easing. I tried to tough it out on my own and almost ended up suffering more, but I think getting tested and treated at the hospital early on was much better.
