My son's keratosis pilaris is getting worse. Should I get a laser procedure? I'm in my mid-20s, and since I've been wearing short sleeves lately... It seems like it's actually bothering you. Products or other items that can alleviate keratosis pilaris in addition to treatment Please share how to manage this.

At some point, I started noticing bumpy, goosebump-like patches on my arms and legs. . At first, I thought it was simply because my skin was dry, but , I looked it up and found out that this is called keratosis pilaris. . It doesn't particularly hurt or itchy, but it looks really bad. , I started to get really self-conscious because my skin looks messy up close. . So, I am paying attention to various things to manage my keratosis pilaris in my own way. . I used to use an exfoliating towel often whenever I took a shower. , I heard that it actually irritates the skin a lot, so I'm not using it at all now. . I am trying to wash as gently as possible because I heard that minimizing skin irritation is more important than scrubbing off dead skin cells too hard. . Also, I've heard that dry skin can worsen keratosis pilaris, so I'm paying attention even when I shower. . I used to like taking long showers or baths with hot water. , Right now, I am trying to avoid very hot water and take short showers with lukewarm water. . I am also trying to reduce my shower time compared to before. . And after finishing a shower or bath, I apply moisturizer immediately before the water completely dries. . I purchased a specialized cream known to be good for keratosis pilaris and am applying it thoroughly to my arms and legs. , I am trying to reapply it frequently whenever I feel dryness, rather than just once a day. . Especially after showering in the evening, I have made it a habit to use a generous amount and massage it in to help with absorption. . Even though I am taking good care of it in my own way, I don't feel like it has improved noticeably yet, so I feel a bit frustrated. . As the weather gets warmer, you will likely be wearing short sleeves or shorts more often. , I also feel like I would be more self-conscious about my arms and legs being exposed. . Has anyone else struggled with keratosis pilaris like me? ? If you have any effective methods or lifestyle habits you've seen results from managing your skin at home, it would be a great help if you could share your experiences or management know-how. .

I have a predisposition to cold urticaria, and with the weather warming up so quickly lately, the skin on my arms and legs is reacting a bit sensitively due to the changes in temperature and body temperature. As a result, the areas with keratosis pilaris have become rougher and look more prominent. It's bad in my arms and legs, but it's worst in my arms. My arms have always felt rough to the touch, but lately, you can see it just by looking at them. It is rough and has red spots as well. Once, my friend even looked at my arm and asked why I got goosebumps..🙃 My back is like that too. I heard that there is no complete cure for keratosis pilaris. Is that true? Is it difficult to get rid of it completely? Still, I'm curious if it improves to some extent if managed properly. I always make sure to apply body lotion after showering, but I rarely use body scrubs... Should I start doing that now? And is this kind of pore-related treatment available at dermatology clinics as well? I have somewhat sensitive skin because I suffer from cold urticaria and have often experienced contact dermatitis. So, I was curious about which method is effective yet less irritating for managing keratosis pilaris. For reference, I am currently using Illiyoon Repair Lotion, a highly moisturizing lotion, but I am curious to know what other body products or ingredients are good, and to hear from people whose skin has actually become smooth after managing keratosis pilaris!!

hello ? I am a man in my 40s who is suffering from keratosis pilaris. I've had this bumpy, goosebumpy skin on my arms since I was a child. I didn't know what it was called before, but I heard it's called keratosis pilaris. The symptoms were so bothersome that I kept scratching and picking at them, and now I have marks. I thought it would go away quickly, but it took longer than I thought, so I'm very stressed. As summer approaches, I'm more concerned. I'm trying to start treating my keratosis pilaris before it gets any warmer. What treatment should I use? How many treatments will it take for armpit keratosis pilaris to go away? I wonder how..!
