[Question] I feel pain in a specific area when I use dental floss after scaling.

I had scaling done a few days ago and started flossing two days later. Everything else is fine, but the area next to my lower left molar is particularly painful when I floss. After flossing, the pain persists for about an hour and then subsides. Normally, I don't feel any tingling or pain at all.

I am worried whether I stimulated my gums when they were sensitive right after scaling, or if there is inflammation in the gums in that area.

When I got my teeth scaled, I didn't feel any pain or numbness, and the doctor checked my teeth and said there was nothing unusual.

I don't think they could have checked the inside of the gums during the checkup.

I've been observing for a few days without flossing. If anyone has experienced similar symptoms, please advise.

If you have pain due to gum inflammation, how should you manage it on a daily basis?
