Varicose vein treatment

It wasn't me, but my older sister who suffered from varicose veins.

My legs often hurt and feel tight, so I went to the hospital, and they recommended surgery for varicose veins, so I had the surgery at a nearby hospital.

Out of concern, I went along and waited at the hospital. In the morning, I had surgery, then wore compression stockings or similar items, walked around inside the hospital doing leg exercises or something similar, and that evening, I was able to walk and be discharged.

Should I say it's a procedure rather than surgery?

It seems like I received simple treatment in just one day.

I am now walking every day without any trouble.

It may vary from person to person, but it seems that my sister had a simple surgery and was discharged.

I think I received it, but I'm not sure if the entire treatment cost was covered through the insurance claim.
