Varicose veins are visible in my calf (procedure Q&A)

My previous job required me to stand, and even when I wanted to sit, I felt self-conscious and couldn't sit down. Since then, I've noticed some lumpy, bumpy areas on my calves, which makes me uneasy. There's no pain, but it looks unappealing and bothers me. Is there no other option besides varicose vein surgery?ㅠ
