How to properly use a foot exfoliating agent
I usually have very dry and itchy feet, so I always pay attention to foot moisturizing.
During seasonal changes, I pay more attention to foot moisturizing.
Many people will use foot exfoliating products on their heels or feet.
I was afraid that criticizing it might make things worse, so I didn't try. But if used correctly, I realized I could manage my feet better.
If it's not the right way instead, my feet... I think they'll become a mess.
Learn about the proper use of foot exfoliation devices and consider who would benefit from using them.
People with hardened and cracked heels often use foot callus removers.
There are various methods for removing foot calluses. One method involves using a foot file, a callus remover tool, to eliminate the calluses, and another method uses a foot mask for foot care. While both methods effectively remove calluses and make the feet soft, there are differences in how they are used, which I will explain. First, when using a foot file, you should not wet your feet; instead, use the file on dry feet. The reason for using it on dry feet is that soaking the feet in water can cause the skin to swell and make the removal of dead skin more difficult. After removing the calluses, it is recommended to wash the feet thoroughly and apply body lotion for moisture.
When using a foot exfoliation pack for foot care, wash your feet thoroughly first, then put on foot sheets that fit each foot. Leave them on for about 30 minutes, then remove the foot sheets and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. The foot exfoliation pack does not show immediate effects; instead, foot calluses naturally shed after 4 to 6 days. If you find using a foot file inconvenient or frightening, you can simply use a callus removal pack for easy callus care. For those with mild calluses, the foot exfoliation pack may be more suitable.
When using foot exfoliating products, do not forcibly peel off the dead skin. The amount and duration of dead skin shedding can vary depending on the person, so forcibly removing it can cause the skin to react sensitively and become damaged. Additionally, different foot exfoliating products have different purposes and usage times, so please check and use them correctly. For example, foot files provide immediate exfoliation and have a short usage time, while foot peeling masks can be used for a minimum of 30 minutes up to 90 minutes. Depending on the condition of the dead skin, you should use them appropriately. In fact, with foot peeling masks, the longer you use them, the more effective the exfoliation, so it is better.
Foot exfoliating products can cause irritation and skin damage if used too frequently. For foot exfoliating products that use a foot file, it is recommended to use them according to the skin's keratin cycle, approximately every 7 to 10 days. For exfoliating packs, it is advised to use them on a monthly cycle, about every 28 days.
