Do people with short nails get their nails done??

My nails are generally short, especially my thumbs, which is a subtle insecurity of mine.

I once went to get my nails done with great determination.

I heard someone say, "Your thumbnail is really short~," and I never got a manicure again... lol

He just said something, and I was the only one upset, so I didn't do it.

Does it seem like my nails are empty or short? Do I extend short nails to do nail art?
