Misunderstanding

A few days ago, I had to go to the dentist. While I was there, I asked about getting a laminate to whiten my teeth, which I had been doing regularly. However, I was told that I was not a candidate. They said that laminates are only for celebrities. When I asked if there was a special qualification needed, they explained that people who have more contact with the public, like celebrities, need laminates for aesthetic reasons, but ordinary people do not. They also mentioned that getting a laminate is not a quick process; it takes several weeks and involves layering multiple layers of resin.
