Can orthodontically corrected teeth also receive veneers?

Is it hereditary in my family that I have never had pure white teeth since I was young? My mother had quite white and very strong teeth, but my father’s teeth are dull in color and somewhat weak. I wonder if I resemble my father because no matter how diligently I brush, my teeth have been somewhat yellowish since childhood. When I was young, I didn’t care much because I was young and carefree, but as I get older, I feel that my teeth color makes me look older and dirtier. However, I have orthodontic braces on my upper and lower teeth with wire retainers. Is it possible to get veneers on teeth like these? I am curious.
