Recently, when I looked in the mirror, I noticed my teeth were stained and seemed to have a lot of plaque in between, so I made time to go to the dental clinic I had visited before.
I immediately had the scaling done. I sat down, leaned back, and covered my face with a cloth, and after a moment, the sounds of the machine's ultrasonic pressure and water pressure began to emanate.
It wasn't very painful when I had scaling done before, so I received the treatment calmly this time as well. Although my teeth were slightly sensitive at times, overall it was fine.
It took about 20 minutes, perhaps because the tartar buildup wasn't severe. Fortunately, there wasn't much tartar after the procedure, but there was some bleeding and I could see some gaps between my lower front teeth.
Since insurance covers it once a year, I plan to visit regularly to get scaling done.
