Do you replace the water purifier you use at home when your contract expires?

I received a call saying that the 5-year contract for the water purifier at my house is coming to an end in May.

Do other households continue using the same brand after their contracts end?

I am currently using the LG brand, but I'm wondering if I should continue using it...

Does the taste of water vary by brand?
