Is it true that presbyopia can be corrected with surgery?

Since I was young, my eyesight has been poor, so I have worn glasses and contact lenses for most of my life. As I entered middle age, I started experiencing presbyopia, which makes daily life inconvenient. I try to accept it naturally, but recently, among the people I meet, some have had presbyopia correction surgery and say it’s been very good. I thought presbyopia was degenerative and couldn’t be corrected, and I understand that the common presbyopia correction procedure is cataract surgery. I’ve heard that if cataract surgery is done at a young age, it can be difficult to have a reoperation later when one becomes very old. However, seeing even some people who seem quite young say that presbyopia correction is very beneficial makes me wonder if there really is a presbyopia correction surgery other than cataract surgery.
