Eye affected by Bell's palsy

I had Bell's palsy on the right side, and maybe because I couldn't close my eye properly at that time, even after 8 months, my right eye is still not normal. Sometimes it feels stinging, so I keep my eye closed, and recently I've also experienced trembling. What are the possible side effects of Bell's palsy on the eyes? How long does it usually take to fully recover?
