When disposing of expired medication

You must never dispose of it as general waste (per-bag waste) or drain it into the sewer.

When ingredients such as antibiotics enter the soil or flow into rivers, they contaminate the soil and water quality.

It can disrupt ecosystems, cause deformities in animals, and lead to the proliferation of super bacteria.

It may be inconvenient, but you should dispose of them in the medicine collection bins available at nearby pharmacies, health centers, or clinics :)
