This time, I would like to inform you about pediatric clinics in Suwon where you can be admitted. My child started attending daycare for the first time at the age of 4.

 

Whenever I went to the institution, I truly felt every moment that my child was always sick.

 

I enrolled my child in daycare in March and spent a sluggish month going back and forth to local pediatric clinics. For a month, my child had alternating high and low fevers, but both local pediatric clinics kept telling me it was okay and only prescribed fever reducers.

 

I thought this wouldn't do. You know, a mother's feel. Like, this definitely has a problem! So, I stayed watchful next to my sleeping child and searched all night, and the place I found was Dongtan Central Children's Hospital.

 

 

As a criterion for search

 

A place where you can be hospitalized immediately

There will be a single room.

It would be best if it were a pediatric specialty hospital.

 

It was a place that met three conditions. I packed my belongings in case of hospitalization without taking any fever reducers and left, and after waiting, I saw Director Choi Ji-hyun for a consultation. I shared the story of fluctuating high fever and low-grade fever over the month, and when I handed over the medication bag, she immediately suggested blood tests and X-rays due to the child's temperature approaching 40 degrees.

 

The result is devastating, with blood inflammation levels 20 times higher than normal... bronchitis, laryngitis, and otitis media...

 

Immediate admission decision.

 

Even now, I want to go to those two hospitals and knock them out.

 

 

There was no single room available, so I was hospitalized in a shared room, then moved to a single room after three days and stayed for two more days. Even at discharge, the inflammation levels were not within the normal range. However, since the high fever has now subsided, they suggested discharging me and continuing outpatient treatment.

 

Thus, the first admission (entry) record of this child at Central Children's Hospital has been completed, and

 

Since then, I have been hospitalized like an annual event.

 

 

The director also knew that high fever is difficult to control in children, so he recommended hospitalization from the start, and unsurprisingly, the inflammation levels were high.

 

Early symptoms of pneumonia, adenoviruses, etc...

 

Anyway, once admitted, the nurses who check on the child's timing and the director who makes house calls twice a day!

 

 

There is a bit of a distance (about 30 minutes by car at the time) in Suwon, but actually, there are no such children's hospitals in Suwon 😭

 

This child has been coming and going from that hospital like it was my own home until the age of 7, and now he has become a child attending the ENT clinic.

 

Anyway, I recommend Dongtan Central Children's Hospital, which had a great hospital meal and a Starbucks on the first floor that took care of my caffeine needs.
