My household's emergency medicine is probably Tylenol.
Tylenol can be purchased at convenience stores even when in a hurry, and its effects typically appear within 30 minutes with relatively high accuracy, so I usually use Tylenol for most types of pain.
Especially, there are more than two types of Tylenol sold at pharmacies, but strangely, the lower-dose version sold at convenience stores seems to work faster for me.
Especially after getting the vaccine, the 500mg Tylenol works immediately, so I always keep it at home. Still, I occasionally use the larger dose when I have cold symptoms or need an anti-inflammatory painkiller, so I am using Tylenol regardless.
Since there are four family members, when everyone gets vaccinated together or catches a cold at the same time, you should be careful because you can't buy more than one item per person at the convenience store.
It would be good to stock up on emergency medicines at home in advance.
