I am really worried about whether I need to get my teeth re-aligned.

I had braces before.
Over time, my teeth gradually shifted a little, and now they are very far apart.
I'm wondering if I need to get braces again.
I am really worried about having to wear the device again for a few more years.
Has anyone here had braces re-treatment?
I am also curious to know if you were able to maintain your alignment well after the retreatment.
